The Breeders Book II by Katie French

Original Amazon Premise for The Breeders Book II by Katie French

“They’ve escaped the Breeders, yet their journey has just begun. Riley and Clay are once again on the run from the Breeders. The group may have escaped the deranged experiments at the hospital, but as one of the world’s last free women, Riley can never be safe. On the road back home, Riley and her crew are captured by a band of savage men. Their destination: the Citadel, run by a bizarre religious prophet named the Messiah. Somehow he knows their secrets. He wants them to join his group of Believers, but only if they’ll drink the baptismal water and swear allegiance. The problem is there’s something wrong with the water. Something wrong with the people. And there’s human moaning coming from the bottom of a dark crevasse that no one wants to talk about. If they can’t figure out what’s going on, Riley and everyone she loves could become a Believer forever.”

MY THOUGHTS

A fana for paranormal dystopian novels? Then you need to read The Breeders Book II by Katie French. However, you may want to start with book one. i.e. if you have not yet read it. I read this one through to the end without really putting it down except to grab an undisturbed bite. It is that amazing.

This sequel is certainly a good one to follow. Downright creepy and chillingly cool. You will discover the new way in which female babies are birthed in this society. There is also a clear depiction of a new form of prison society wherein assimilation is forced and unquestioned. When the truth of what goes on in this society, represented by the Citadel and the Breeders is revealed, all hell breaks loose. What a perfect expression of turns and twists. Katie French surely has something great cooking in those brains of hers for the follow-up.

I loved reading The Breeders Book II by Katie French, but you will need to read it to form your own opinion. Definitely waiting for Book three of this sequel.

Spread the love
